Well, my parents aren’t roaring party throwers, at least they haven’t been since I’ve been alive, so I’m not sure of a song that they would play during a party.
But, I would guess that it would be a song from the 1970’s, since those were their prime younger years (age 15-30 throughout the decade).
Perhaps something like this 1974 hit, from Canadian band Bachman-Turner Overdrive, “Takin’ Care of Business”
This a song that I get really excited to listen to when my iPod selects it when it shuffles my music, especially when I am in my car with the windows down and the sunroof open. I love the bass line and the chorus. That’s why this Queen classic hit is a favourite song of mine.
Another One Bites the Dust – Queen
Now, the fact that the line “Another One Bites the Dust” is one of my favourite sayings, and probably one that is ‘oh so true’ when it comes to my dating life, I’m sure has no impact on my love for this song….. 😉 Or my competitive nature in games or some aspects of life – yep, no correlation that I can see….. 😉
