08/15/2015 Day 227 – A Song That Starts With The First Letter of My Name

“Karma Karma Karma Chameleon, you come and go, you come and go-oo”

08/14/2015 Day 226 – A Song That is Anti-Me

Those who know me best, and love me, pretty much know that the lyrics of these song describe someone who is a complete opposite of me…

Joan Jett – Bad Reputation

I do care about my reputation, and I do care what people think (to a certain extent) and I am definitely a good girl with a pretty steady moral compass. 🙂

08/13/2015 Day 225 – Most Underrated Song

I don’t think that this song gets the attention and credit that it deserves. Instead Bohemian Rhapsody steals it’s thunder, at least with listeners of Queen in my generation. I actually had never heard this song before Glee covered it in their final season, just a few months ago, and I love it. It’s fantastic, catchy, powerful, and a great rock anthem full of emotions. Let’s just say, it it’s quickly moving up in the rankings of my iTunes library.

But apparently, in 1984, The single reached only the 45th position in the US charts, but reached number 3 in the UK and was certified silver with 200,000+ copies sold. Both the original track and the Glee cover version are worth each and every listen they can receive. If you aren’t familiar with this song, you should remedy that. NOW.

I Want To Break Free – Queen

08/07/2015 Day 219 – Favourite Sing-Along (Everybody Sing Now) Song

I know there are songs out there where everybody joins in, according to the music and lyrics, such as “Señorita” by Justin Timberlake. But, for the life of me I can’t remember any others, and therefore I’m having trouble finding a favourite!

However, one of my favourite anthem songs that I know always gets a crowd to sing/shout along to, is this gem here from 1987 – it’s a fantastic rock song and has one of the best and most memorable choruses in rock music history in my opinion.

Here is “Livin’ On A Prayer” by Bon Jovi

07/16/2015 Day 197 – Best Movie Theme Song (with Lyrics)

I’m going to choose….

While Footloose is not necessisarly one of my favourite movies (I actually prefer the remake movie from 2011 to the original 1984 film) but in all honesty if you ever get the chance to see a stage production of Footloose the Musical!, I definitely recommend that! It is incredible. 🙂

However, Footloose is one of my all-time favourite songs and definitely one of the best movie theme songs (in my opinion)!

06/29/2015 Day 180 – A Song I Like To Listen To While Exercising

There are so many to choose from! My “Just Dance” playlist has over 1000 songs on it, and is filled with upbeat music that motivates me to move.

So, I’m going to choose a song that my iPod has actually be choosing for my almost every day I’ve worked out for the past two weeks. I’m serious. Each day I put the playlist on random shuffle and this song has almost always been choosen during my 45-minute workout.

It’s a song from 1983, and it is a song that I love. It’s lyrics are powerful, strong, motivational, and true. At least, I feel that way.

Here is Love is a Battlefield by Pat Benatar.
