08/27/2015 Day 239 – A Song My Parents Would Play During Parties

Well, my parents aren’t roaring party throwers, at least they haven’t been since I’ve been alive, so I’m not sure of a song that they would play during a party.

But, I would guess that it would be a song from the 1970’s, since those were their prime younger years (age 15-30 throughout the decade).

Perhaps something like this 1974 hit, from Canadian band Bachman-Turner Overdrive, “Takin’ Care of Business”

06/15/2015 Day 166 – A Song I Love From a Genre That I Usually Dislike

Well, this is tricky because I tend to either like or love a genre, or I dislike it entirely. However, with the help of my iTunes library I discovered that there is one song that is the only one in its genre category.

The category is Punk

The artist is The Ramones

The song is I Wanna Be Sedated

It is officially a song that I like from a genre that I’m overall not that crazy about.

06/05/2015 Day 156 – A Song That Would Get Me On The Dance Floor No Matter What

Well, there’s no way I can ever sit still when I hear this song, and I think that’s the case for most people who are fun-loving, music-enjoyin’, moving and groovin’ people. Right?

YMCA – The Village People

I mean, if you can sit through this whole song and not get up and form the letters Y,M,C,A with your arms/hands, then you are unique. And, we might not be able to be friends.

After all, this is a crowd pleaser.

05/12/2015 Day 132 – Song That You Air Guitar To Every Time You Hear It

Um, do I ever air guitar? Not really…

So, because I really like this song AND it’s mentioned on Buzzfeed’s list “44 Songs You Have to Air Guitar To Before You Die”, I choose Boston’s More Than A Feeling.

It actually is a pretty great guitar song. So, let’s get those fingers ready and air guitar away!!

Be careful…you just might not be able to stop listening and playing along!

03/12/2015 Day 71 – A Song That Reminds You of a Best Friend

Since my one best friend already had a challenge day, today’s gonna have to go to another best friend. Guess I’m very blessed and lucky to have more than one!

And, better yet, you know who you are <3.

“Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am stuck in the middle with you.” And I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Love you GK
